Professional Membership Program

Connect. Grow. Leadin STEM & AI.

WorkOnward Foundation membership recognises practitioners, researchers, students, and leaders through a peer-evaluated six-grade ladder with practical standards, transparent criteria, and a dedicated Women in STEM track from day one.

Why join WorkOnward Foundation

A credential designed to carry meaning, and a community built to widen access to recognition across technical careers.

Peer-evaluated, not pay-to-join
Every grade above Affiliate is reviewed by a human assessor against a published rubric. References, narratives, and senior-grade review stages are used only where they add real signal.
Built for STEM and AI careers
The membership ladder reflects the realities of modern technical careers across engineering, research, product, education, and applied AI practice.
Inclusive by design
Women in STEM pricing, reduced fees for low-income contexts and career transitions, and hardship support are integrated into the program from the start.
Portable professional recognition
Members earn post-nominal designations and a formal member record that can be referenced on CVs, LinkedIn profiles, bios, and applications.

How it works

Clear intake. Grade-specific review. Human decisions. Payment only after approval.

1

Choose your grade

Select the membership grade that fits your experience level, then complete the intake form and upload the required application materials.

2

Complete the file

Some grades require supporter validation or additional narratives. Other grades move directly into officer or panel review once the file is complete.

3

Human assessment

A Membership Officer or peer review panel evaluates your application against the published criteria for that grade.

4

Decision and activation

You receive a written outcome. Approved applicants pay dues only after approval to activate membership and receive their member credentials.

Reduced fees

Affordability is part of the design.

Membership is designed to be rigorous without becoming exclusionary. Women in STEM applicants receive 40% off, multiple reduced-fee pathways offer 50% off, and hardship waivers can reduce dues further when needed.
