What You'll Do:

Support nonprofit research and learning initiatives that inform our programs.
What You'll Do:

- •Summarize reports on workforce trends
- •Support grant research (non-writing, non-submission)
Note: No proprietary data handling or funder negotiations
Language & Accessibility Volunteer
Improve access for non-English-speaking communities across the nation.
What You'll Do:
- •Translate outreach materials
- •Support interpretation at workshops
- •Review content for cultural clarity
Languages: Korean, Spanish, Chinese, or other community languages
Mentorship & Community Support Volunteer
Provide guidance and encouragement to jobseekers navigating career transitions.
What You'll Do:
- •Resume review workshops (group-based)

Administrative Support Volunteer

Digital Literacy & Technology Volunteer
Help bridge the digital divide by teaching essential technology skills to jobseekers.
What You'll Do:
- •Assist with digital literacy workshops
- •Guide participants through WorkOnward's voice and SMS tools
- •Support basic computer and smartphone navigation training
Time: 2–4 hours per workshop, schedule varies

Important Information for Volunteers
"Volunteer service with WorkOnward Foundation is unpaid and does not create an employment relationship. Participation is voluntary and may be discontinued at any time by either party."
Documentation Requirements
All volunteers must complete: Volunteer Agreement, Code of Conduct, and Role Description Acknowledgement. Some roles may require an optional background check.
Activities Not Permitted for Volunteers
- • Perform work that would otherwise be paid
- • Manage employees or contractors
- • Represent WorkOnward Foundation in legal, financial, or contractual matters
- • Generate revenue or sell services
- • Receive promises of employment, visas, or future compensation
